It was quite intimidating, inexperienced as I was, to be a soloist at such a large festival! Not to mention the absolute glory of the goldener Saal at the Wiener Musikverein… it had been my dream to sing there, ever since attending an orchestra performance there in 2006 (I was 8 years old). I didn’t expect the opportunity to come so soon, but I’m so grateful that it did. In a way, completing my big dream right at the start of this journey has allowed me to stay open-minded about what lies ahead. I can proceed with curiosity instead of a laser focus on a single place – that makes it all so much more fun!
